take your dog to dog shows, earn her CH title
find a mentor.. research breeding, genetics, whelping, pedigrees, puppy raising, etc
develop a good relationship with your vet.
save up money for prenatal care, stud fees, and possible emergency care
when she is 2 years old, get her tested thru the OFA, CERF, BAER and Optigen, as well as a brucellosis test.
After you’ve done all this, you should have no problems finding a nice stud, with the help of your breeding mentor.
Jsut because you want your dog to have puppies doesn’t mean she should.
There are thousands of people who want their dogs to have puppies, and do you know where those puppies end up? Euthanized in shelters.
Breeding is not something to take lightly, it’s not a game, or a joke, or something to toy with. Breeding dogs is a huge responsibility and shouldn’t be done by incompetent dog owners.
Have your female spayed and do a couple more YEARS of researching on breeding, genetics, the breed standard, whelping, health tests and more.
