Should I Get A Dog Or Not…if So Maybe A Havanese??

i am 19 years old and in college. i know i will have time to walk the dog but there will be some times when i am not at home. i dont want a dog who needs EXCESS attention like a yorkie or other hyperactive dogs that get bored really easily and i dont want a cat because i think they are too anti-social as well as shedding too much. i am also very allergic to most dogs so i wonder what kind of dog is good for allergy sufferers and is smart learns fairly quick, that likes to be active some times lazy other times. i want to buy a dog not a puppy because i do not have time to potty train this is also a problem because i dont know where to find a breeder with a teenage dog. i was thinking about getting a havanese or something similar…please give me any suggestions!

If you look at a shelter,they can help you with THE dog that is right for you.They won’t give you one that won’t fit,because they are hoping for no returns! Ask around!
If people leave dogs in crates for 8 hours while they are at work,I’m sure you can make it work if you are responsible.
(No one wants to come home from a party and have to take a dog for a walk)
Try going to a shelter or rescue group. You will be able to get a dog that is a little older and employees or volunteers at the shelter will already have an idea about the dog’s personality and be able to help you choose one that fits your lifestyle. Save a life, adopt!
I think you should put off getting a dog,it doesn’t sound like you are ready for it,they,any dog,takes alot of time and attention,breed has nothing to do with it,Dogs need forever homes like children,go on about your life enjoy your freedom while you still can somewhere in the future may be a dog for you but not right now.Enjoy your free time now like everything it won’t last forever hope your allergies get better too.

MAYBE A HAMSTER OR A GERBIL IS GOOD FUR U RIGHT NOW, DOGS NEED LOVE AND U DONT SEEM TO HAVE THE TIME RIGHT NOW
try the dog shelter you are more likely to find what your looking for there
Don’t get a Dog, Get a Cat. Cats are much quieter and you don’t haft to walk them, they can walk them self. You haft to give a dog a bath, cats can keep them self clean.
it doesn’t seam like you have the time to take care of a dogs needs. but if your committed to a dog look around in local shelters (the best place to get a dog) golden retrievers are good dogs. there calm, gentle, relaxed, well behaved. they are sorta a big dog but never aggressive. try looking around online on someinformation on a breed your interessed in. good luck!
It really doesn’t sound like you have time. College is demanding. Finish school, find a job, and then consider getting a dog.
well i personally love great danes. they’re a large breed of dog so if u don’t have the room then they’re not for you but if u do they are very sweet and do not need to be with someone all of the time and can hold their bladder for a long time but they love attention but are also willing to crawl into a corner and sleep for hours.
Maltese are really good for allergy sufferers, are very smart, and are active just as much as they are “lazy”. Mine’s asleep in my lap right now, actually. They do need to be brushed almost every day to prevent matting, and do like to be walked daily. On the second hand, if you’re having doubts as to whether you are ready to have a dog, you’re probably not. Good luck!
