I personally have a cockapoo (cocker spaniel/poodle mix) and I couldn't ask for a better dog. He has a great temperament. He loves all other people and animals. He is really smart and was so easy to train. On top of all that, he is too cute for his own good.
My dog's "girlfriend" who he met in one of his training classes is a havanese and she is a great dog as well. Absolutely adorable, great temperament, very smart and very sweet.
When it comes down it to, a cockapoo is not a full bred dog, unlike the havanese. It is a mix and that means that all cockapoos will look and act different depending on the parents of the dogs and the different traits that they inherit. Look up the traits of havanese and then cocker spaniels and poodles and see which dogs would best fit your lifestyle and desire for a dog. Also if you are interested in a cockapoo, check out local shelters near you in order to adopt since it is a mixed breed.
