Shih-tzu ,maltese Or Havanese??

I am going to buy a puppy.I want one that is easy to train ,is a good companion and doesn’t get all hyper.A calm, easy-going lap dog.I want one that can stay alone during the day although someone will be with it most of the day.I prefer one that doesn’t shed.what do you suggest??shih – tzu , maltese or havanese?? any better ideas??

A Shih Tzu probably isn’t for you. They are said to be good apartment dogs (meaning they’re good in smaller spaces) but they do get hyper – no matter what quality of food you’re feeding them. Everyone i know that owns a Shih Tzu says that theirs, like ours, loves to run around the house – ours does laps around the table (even after a long walk!)
Shih Tzu don’t shed outward, the dead hair stays in the coat to be brushed out. We’ve found our Shih Tzu easy to train (housebreak, commands and tricks).
If you don’t mind the occasional bursts of energy Shih Tzu have then, of course, I’d suggest one – they’re really lovely dogs.

I have a family of shih-tzus: mom & dad, who had 3. They are the most adorable, loveable and jumpable of any breed. No shedding, little barking, a joy to watch romp. They also are faithful companions. Suki is the “watchdog”, notifing me if anyone is on our property, sidewalk or street. The only drawback was, they are hard to potty train. It was worth it, or i wouldnt have 5!!!!!!!!!!!
Doesn’t shed? I’m afraid Shih Tsu and havanese are crossed out. The Malstese would be the best. However, if u want a dog that doen’t shed much, Labradoodle or a poodle. They are great for people who are allergic to dander. But if u want that doen’t shed at all, buy a Mexican Hairless or a Chinese Crested if u want. Good luck!!! =)
Well, Havanese, Maltese and Shih-Tzu breeds shed little to no hair and are good for allergy suffers. They are all small so it actually is all up to you. But, maybe a Havanese ’cause they are not yappy dogs that bark all day at nothing at all.

haha they all bark and go crazy over little bitty things my suggestion is to get a yorkshire terrier they dont shed they only bark when theres something to bark at dont get a pug they shed like crazy and have really bad gas… youll be happy with yorkshire terrier “yorkie”
