Hi. Very easy to house train as these dogs are so eager to please. As puppies I started off with a wee wee pad which they learned to use immediately. (keep a slightly soiled pad so they have the scent). I sooned moved it outside right by the door. They get the idea quickly. Praise them lavishly when they do it. Give them a treat, too. Use the same words like "go potty". Then you can ask them when they have to go out. Soon they won't need the pad anymore. Now I use some hanging bells by the door which they ring when they want to go out. (I have 2 Havanses.) Although one of my girls will ring the bell whenever she sees a rabbit or squirrel but I let her out anyway, she enjoys the chase! By the way, they are so attached to people (it doesn't really matter who as long as they give them some attention) as long as someone is home with them, they are happy. Good Luck!
