Smaller dogs are harder to housebreak than larger dogs. You just need to be consistent, patient and use positive reinforcement along with crate training.

you just need a lot of patience, and if that does’nt work out, then go train it like a normal dog.

i think bathroom training a dog is giving it to much human qualities and weird. just let it go on a fire hydrant like normal dogs lol!!

It all really depends on the owner. If you are consistent with taking him out hourly, it’ll be really easy because you won’t have to deal with picking up much poop on the carpet. If you are lazy and just say, “Ah, he can hold it for another hour.”, then it’ll be hard and frustrating.

its not so much the breed, anyway if you need a how-to ive give you one
-if your puppy is 4 months hold let him out every 4 hours, 5months-5 hours ETC…
-keep the puppy in a crate unless you can watch him 24/7
-crate should only be big enough for the puppy to turn around and stand up (no bigger!)
-always praise for going outside, scold for going inside, dont scold for going in crate
