You probably should at least go a couple nights with her in the same room as you (but still in the kennel.) Make sure she has a little water and maybe a blanket or towel or shirt that smells like you.

Try putting in an old shirt of yours that you wore so she can smell you at night.
If you give in to the crying and go pay attention to her at night when she should be asleep, she will remember that and know that eventually you will come.

You could try giving her something to chew on while she is in there. You could also give her a stuffed animal to snuggle with.

my dog cries for anything so i read on some sites that if you get those toys that have a hole in the middle and you put a favorite treat like peanut butter or bacon strips (dog strips) or anything she loves, usually something stinky that catches their attention. i started doing this with out dog and oh man is it good. I hope he never looses interest. our dog cries soo much it can get annoying but this toy has helped. good luck!

When we brought ours home as puppies, they did want to cry at first and likely would if we moved their crates now and they are 3 years old now.
Dogs are like people in that they like a routine. Moving to another house a couple times a month is a change for him/her. I would have her sleep in the same room as you, dogs like the pack to be together. They are fearful if they are separated from the pack, especially at night.
When ours were puppies, we put the crate right next to the bed so they could smell us, and if they woke in the night, I put my fingers through the crate to soothe him. Unless he had to got out, this was all he needed to go back to sleep.
Something that smells like you in his crate is a must. It should be something you've worn or slept with. They also sell heatable puppy buddies at pet store. This helps a young puppy just separated from his litter. It might help yours too.
I'm certain he feels like she's in dangerous territory and separated from her pack. Her instinct is to call for help until rescued.
Havanese are known to be "velcro" dogs and they try to be with their masters whenever possible. This is a good quality within them which also makes them easier to train.
My recommendation is to put the crate in your bedroom where she can hear you or see you. We propped ours on an upside down laundry basket at first. Maybe after getting used to the visits away from home, you can gradually move the crate to another location.
These dogs are known to be hypoallergetic, so I'm surprised you're having problems being allergic. Maybe it's the shampoo or other product used on her.
Good luck!
