The AKC won’t touch your dogs with a 10 foot pole, and rightly so. The Continental Kennel Club is a worthless scam registry that would register a goat as a Great Dane if you paid them enough money.

which ckc are you with? Canadian Kennel Club dogs can be transferred to the AKC without any issues..infortunately the other CKC is a crap registry

AKC is very specific on the parentage of the dogs. Yours were not born AKC and will never be AKC no matter how pure you feel they are. Canadian Kennel Club CAN transfer, but since you are asking on here… I am going to bet it is Continental Kennel Club… which is a junk registry.

Sorry, if the are Continental KC, you cannot register your dog with the AKC.
You can get an ILP listing if you get the dog spayed/netuered.. Im not sure if you can compete in junoir handling with an ILP listing tho.
If you want to get involved in Jr handling, start attending local dog shows and talking to handlers and breeders. You may find a mentor who may help you obtain a dog for show. Some breeders do give dogs to JR handlers on occasions. Or they may do a co-own and reserve breeding rights on the dog. A breeder may even give you a retired show dog.
