Havanese Training OR Behavior Problems?
This is the information provided by the AKC on looks, temperment, ect. I’ve only know one of these dogs but he was abused and not very social but we were able to rehabilitaty fairly well and in a short period of time.

I have a 2 1/2 year old Havanese male who came to me at 8 weeks. As soon as we were able, we went to puppy training. he is lovable, adorable, (pretty) well trained, was easy to potty train (only to the outdoors-didn’t bother with paper or wee wee pads). I keep him in a puppy cut and have him groomed once a month, right before he goes to do therapy with day groups of disabled seniors. I got him specifically because I wanted a small dog that was pretty hypoallergenic, as my husband is allergic to dogs. He’s fine with the Havanese.
get a puppy from a reputable breeder, not a pet store, and make sure to go to puppy class and keep up the training. Also, do some reading before you get the puppy so you have some idea what to do, and what you’ll need.
I recommend crate training and using a small pen if you have room (my dog never cries when we leave-he just goes into his “room” and goes to sleep}.

they are good with children and its fur they have. I’m not sure if they shed bad but probably not b/c they are related to the pekinese and they dont shed bad at all
